Default CBB8...why?

Why have C5 decided to have a Celebrity version before the original series? and why have they decided to have one series after another, people will get bored and ratings will be even lower!

Any thoughts?

Because it gets higher ratings and more press coverage.

CBB was always more popular than regular BB so therefore having it back to back makes sense because its likely that the CBB viewers will just keep watching.

Celebrities versions are always the best anyway, they are about the right amount of time. Regular series would be much better if they followed the same length of time and same number of housemates

There is a chance that viewers will carry on watching after the celeb version ends. I am not convinced as quickly off the top of my nead I can think of a few people who will watch CBB if the celebs are right but who have never watched the normal show. Both my parents spring to mind they have loved every CBB and enthused about it even though I have never watched it. But they cannot see any point at all of a show with the public (and I use that term loosely) in it as nobody will want to know about them. I used to try and explain that that is the point but fell on deaf ears.

I see all your points lol

Although I don't agree with Locke. saying that regular BB should be the same length as CBB, I love that is goes on for 13 weeks or more because its like going on a journey with the housemates <3
