Yep, it does seem rather stupid to keep it going that long, especially as the show itself is quite short. I suppose it gives them time to manipulate the highlight shows the way they want them to go though to garner as much money in the voting as possible. That's if they make that much from the voting? Anyone know if that's where the money is for them? Or does most go to charity?
