That's the sort of terminology someone taking on a lawsuit would use.

Who is 'them' and what is this 'for everything they've got', exactly?

The only one I can see her every taking from is Aden, as she's likely to use for her own purposes - if his father doesn't get him sorted out well before she gets her claws into him if the fancy takes her.
