I think alot of the great characters are great because they were so self un-aware. Once they see themselves on TV, they lose that naivety. Like Nadia and Makosi and most of the housemakes in UBB. Everyone they brought back were just shadows of their former selves in their original series.

Makosi wasn't being herself in UBB - she was acting so the public wouldn't hate her. And for some reason Nadia got a lot more arrogant since being on BB5. I think a big part of the reason a lot of the UBB housemates were such letdowns is because it was only 18 days and they weren't under much stress. There were no argumentative housmates except Nadia and Coolie, so it was all in all peaceful and boring.

I don't agree that lightning never strikes twice. On BB7US everyone delivered bar Janelle. And on Survivor HIV the only great castaways who was disappointing was Colby. I actually enjoyed Parrvati and Sandra even more than on their previous seasons.
