Nice gesture. Nice of her to say they should wait til they had a decent budget too. All round nice part of the show, which is rare these days

I think some of the criticism on here is highly unfair. She looked genuinely shocked when they mentioned to her about clubbing together to get her hair extensions. She said she didn't want them and that she'd rather they spent the money on food instead. She didn't demand they buy the hair extensions for her nor did she force them to chalk it up on the shopping list either. It was a nice gesture on the HMs part.

She seems like a genuinely nice girl who has brought a lot of cheer and warmth to the house.

Wasting a third of your small food budget on hair extensions is just dumb. Its not like these extensions are going to make Alex look any less repulsive so its definitely a huge waste of money.

Thank you Aaron, Harry and Anton...That was one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for Alex...
Alex would rather they spent the money on food but they genuinely wanted to buy them for her, For me that says it all, she is well liked and Harry and Aaron look upon her as a young sister. That was so kind of Anton too and I think Alex was quite overwhelmed by their lovely kind gesture....especially when the budget was so low....None of the other housemates seemed to mind at all and it seemed they wanted her to have them too...

Yeah, I think even Anton genuinely likes Alex, he could have easily been a bastard and changed that board to spite Aaron but left it the way it was.

..hmmmm this threads turned into a bit of a 'schoolyard fight' very boring........and as for the hair things...she could have done without em. she could have tied the bits shes got in a pony tail or something and just got on with it ! total vanity and i like Alex and her daftness...

Thanks fruit_cake...Your guess is as good as mine...We have no idea what will happen after BB...and yes, for sure she has always wanted to be a housemate from being 13 years old...I have to be there when she comes out as she will need my guidance and advice...but I have no idea what the future will hold...

I don't remember seeing anything written in the forum rules about 'special treatment' for any member. Maybe I'm wrong but I have not seen it anywhere.
