Thought's?
Well clearly more people are enjoying Aaron's "game" otherwise he wouldn't still be in the house

I would never believe a word that Anton said anyway but no thank goodness, the snake was clearly given the boot from the house tonight and it's long overdue too.

That's the point, he's hidden his game. Although to be fair to him he entered the house stating he had a game plan, but then when no one actually saw further evidence of it, it looked like just a claim that Hm's make to big them selves up. Everyone saw him as a Great Guy in a house full of morons.

Maisy spoiled his cupcake = maisy is blamed
Faye burps in his ear = Faye is blamed
Jay is blanked by him = Jay is blamed

All because Aaron is a great guy. Right? Wrong. this is the shock people have to come. The first obvious revel was him talking to the cameras, then admitting to Gem he manipulated Hm's nominations. Now Anton adds to the speculation in the public's mind.

I get that he's playing a game as I believe most housemates do this. The difference I have seen with Aaron is he hasn't come across as disgusting as Jay or as two faced as Anton to me and some could say I'm watching him through rose tinted glass. I have always believed he is genuine and I have found myself agreeing with him in regards to some of the things that have happened in the house.

If he comes out (well he's going to at some point) and admits that he's played the game just as he had planned from the beginning then I would still be happy and think hats off to him for playing the game. That's the kinda housemate that I like to watch. He's no hero though and he bloody annoys me at times, but then even my own family do that.

That's fair enough. This is where we differ, but there's nowt wrong with that.

The public as far as i can remember? have always disliked the massive game players. And by massive i mean

Alex, Rachele Rice, Josie small
Small players they are generally themselves but may adjust there personality slightly to make life easier in the house

Victor, Anton big
Actively take an interest in messing with Hm's and manipulate voting, keeping the audience involved

Rex, Aaron massive
All the above but, make no admission even to the public that they are playing a game.

The Massive players never win i think.

I think your examples of the different playing styles are spot on. I also agree that the massive players never win and I really don't think Aaron will break that trend.

I do enjoy the game playing, but more-so where the players don't announce it (those that do annoy me because they come across really bigheaded)

Of course it isn't just about the game playing, the housemate has to have certain qualities for me otherwise game or no game I wouldn't be interested.

It will be really interesting to see what affect Anton's departure will have on Aaron. Anton said that Aaron brought the worst out in him and I think the same can be said for Anton with Aaron.

If Aaron is truly is as studied up on BB as Anton claims, and i'm not saying he's not...he's made some major gaffs with his game plan! His over reactions to stuff, i don't think have particularly endeared himself to the public. ie. the Jay joke carrying on, the frosted flakes incident, Faye burping. And generally moping around the house, not talking to people, isn't a good look! He certainly hasn't played the "perfect game".

What's the object of Big Brother? To win the show.

Despite what anyone says, you go in there to win the show and the money.

I always thought it was so clever of Aaron in the way he used Anton's weight against him, like in the stranded task, Anton set it up to humiliate Aaron, but Aaron came out of it the winner.

I can see Gem now being Aarons only detractor, as i think Jay is a spent force, which is weird to say but yea, He's happy just to get along with Aaron now.

Everyone is playing the game of course. I dont think he is tricking the public. when nominations where alloud to talk Anton tried to make everyone vote Aaron and Aaron in a way did the same thing just like everyone else.

Well no one can play a perfect game for so long i guess.

makes me wonder where Aaron ends and the Player starts

I can never figure out if he is naturally moody or it's a way to get sympathy with the Audience & Hm's If i were to guess id say it's natural

Agree. I made a few posts in a thread yesterday, that more often Anton's villain role would enhance Aaron popularity rather than detract. And also just make for a more entertaining last couple of weeks. But it was squashed by the frenzied lynch mob mentality to get Anton out!

Give Gem a chance. The way she talked to Aaron in the bathroom early on ie

don't try to hide just be yourself cos i can see through it if you don't.

She may just provide the conflict BB needs now Anton has gone.

I think he's naturally moody, but also playing it up a bit. Kinda putting himself on the moral high ground, and playing at his disappointment over these "immature kids" he has to live with. He's walking a fine line between coming off as the Grumpy Dad vs The Voice of Reason.

Oh yeah! Jem's got way more potential to damage Aaron than Anton ever had!
