There were fairly large legal ramifications here which is why 'nothing has been said'. In addition to this there are various controversial issues vis. health and safety - I suspect (although I might not be right) that Production have possibly intervened here and advised that a line should be drawn under this episode asap. This is the stuff that (potential) production nightmares are made of in some cases. Having said that - the likelihood of anyone's safety being compromised as a result of this (if indeed it did happen) is fairly remote. I am sure channel 5 adhered to toxic waste disposal laws to the letter, should this have become necessary. It's all unfortunately unsavoury - if it happened. If it did not then there is no problem whatsoever but possibly Jay will sadly be remembered for an untrue 'allegation'. Probably time for everyone to move on from the notion. The legal team would have this boxed off before you could say Tom, Dick or Harry to win.
