If she cared enough about him, she wouldn't be fuelling other HMs' dislike of him now would she? You don't see Aaron slagging her off to all and sundry, the way she does him. Imagine the ructions if he was rolling his eyes and laughing at her to her face, as she does him. If anything I'm now convinced that Aaron likes her much more than she likes him, otherwise I can see no other reason why he would bother with her at all.
