It's it a bit presumptious of you isn't it? to asume the above highlighted bit of your post.
You have to look at it surely from some of the bigger Celebs perspectives though. It's not going to be easy for a lot of higher profile Celebs who have graced the likes of Hollywood etc; to start acting humble or not mentioning her acting career, no more than it would be easy for Fatima to abstain from mentioning her sporting past, Willie his Jockeying, Dougie his singing career, Sinitta, Simon Cowell, Antony, Corrie, etc;
I don't think Stephanie was that aloof, I think it is just the way her persona came across. She seemed ok and likeable to me, a bit bossy but then so are a few in there, and as I said from her acting background maybe she was used to being a bit bossy, as are many actors. I think the ones who do well in film and stage careers are the ones able to assert themselves and be a bit bossy. Stephanie was and probably is still quite a star. She has grit, she embraced the tasks full on without much of a flinch. I think she did well and got voted out too soon, but she's Anerican, and Americans only seem to get so far in UK reality type shows, and a lot of people won't get her.
