I have read all the posts on here and can agree with them all as to most of the content. I steer clear of any drugs, have never seen the need for them, I have problems taking prescribed medicines when I am ill never mind other things.

However, I have also talked to a wide range of ages of people as to legalising drugs and cannabis in particular, while it's true cannabis can affect mood and cause paranoia plus increase mental problems, overall in moderation it is a drug that is neither positive or negative as to other organs in the body,also, I knew of someone,(a friends Uncle), who had cancer and was in massive pain,he said the only thing that relieved his pain was cannabis,the prescribed drugs were near useless.

Perhaps the danger of legalising cannabis is that people may move on to stronger drugs rather than stay with that one but I feel overall,it is worth a go at it. It would remove the dealers in part at least and addicts would be able to get it legally, maybe the cost would be less too and of course the Govt could rake in taxes from it too.
However, whether addicts would buy it if it were legal is another danger in that they may not want to be identified so then move onto stronger drugs.

It's a hard question to answer one way or another,the grey area is quite large as to it but they play around with drug classifications a lot anyway so perhaps legalising it for a time to see what happened would be a good thing to try even for a limited time.

It probably does slightly less harm than smoking loads of cigarettes daily and certainly for the whole overall health aspects of the effects of alcohol it would do a lot less damage than a lot of alcohol daily too.

As I said,I wouldn't even try it but I can see all sides on this one.
