Oh my god... thats all I have to say about today! Set off to drive to Glasgow at about 5.30am this morning and got there about 8.30am no bother. Left again at about 4pm and I've literally just got back! 5 and a half hours to do a journey that usually gets 2 and a half/3 hours! Weather in Scotland was terrible, felt like my car was going to flip over at any given moment! Parts of the motorway coming back were restricted to about 20mph, some gridlocked, accidents everywhere. It was awful, never quite seen anything like it

It's extremely windy here. North Wales is like 60mph. So i feel really sorry for those in the North of England/Scotland

That's shocking. Here in Dover it was nothing but a bit of breeze.

Some of these pictures are incredible. They look like really nice pictures. I know they're awful but they do look quite nice.

Not much here now where I am (North Lanarkshire). About 30mins ago or so, it had that rather surreal, uneasy quiet stillness - you know - ''the calm before the storm'' type feeling....... which is crackers since it appears the worst has passed. Just everso slightly windy now, coming and going.

It's meant to be moving towards the NE of Scotland if reports on the local news are accurate.
