Frankie passed through the early rounds of X-factor and even made the live shows, and survived several weeks before they kicked him out. Pete probably wouldn't have made it that far imo

To be fair to Pete most talents wouldn't get through. X Factor is full of karaoke acts, impersonators and novelty acts. I'm pretty sure Adele wouldn't get through had she auditioned for the show before she got fame and now look at her worldwide success. Whereas apart from Leona I couldn't name a single X Factor finalist that's done anything of note.
