The idea that humans could figure out the complex systems of the universe is condescending and self righteous.

The universe is so much bigger and more permanent than silly little humans that are just a blip on the evolutionary chain.

I would watch using the term "silly little humans" as that is "insulting to other member(s)"

just as the term "religious idiots" is also "insulting to other members"

The logic being that although both are generic they may include some members of tibb

In this case I think your term may be more likely to include some tibb member!
