It's not staying off the booze because of depression but because it makes her behave aggresively...Denise has talked about it herself often enough on LW and admits she's a nightmare...on a show where you're behaviour is going to be scrutinised she could have made the decision not to drink for her stay...I actually don't know that much about her other than what she talks about herself. People who suffer from depression can behave like idiots sometimes too, she can't blame bad behaviour on depression

I think you will find that true alcoholics cant help but drink and should get more help than they do, she does have pride and respect for others, but if everyone is drinking, do you really think she is going to sit sipping a latte? she drinks to have a fun time as she said in her entrance VT

Yes but for instance if someone suffers with photosensitive epilepsy and choose to go clubbing which could possibly make them have a seizure isnt that the same thing?

Both have risks but people take risks for the chance of enjoyment.

Addicition is also an illness so its a fair comparrison.

I may indeed have far more experience is seeing how one goes with the other and how each impact on each other. I don't need to rely on observations: life experience gives far more knowledge (as well as having studied Psychology), that tends to give a far insight than any observations based on a few hours of edited highlights.
