This is so wrong.

People can be nice all night while drunk then suddenly, without warning they turn into a violent thug or abusive moron. I think that Michaels problem with Denise is that he is scared of what she will do next when she's drunk. The signs are all there to prove she is clearly an unstable drunkard.
