Oh Livia, I just remembered...
When I was at uni a student friend of mine at a party took a sip of her drink and passed out. When she woke up she was in a bath of ice in a strange hotel. Realising something was seriously wrong she looked down to see a huge scar and began to scream. The noise attracted attention and an ambulance was called. When the medics arrived they explained that this is not the first time this has happened and that it is likely that her kidney was removed to be sold on the black market.

...and there was this other time...it's all coming back now...like a floodgate opening..
A young couple I knew, on a trip to a well-known lover's lane were disturbed by screams outside their car and the boy reluctantly got out to investigate. When he didn't return, my friend began to panic, especially when she heard a repetitive banging noise on the roof of the car. Putting the vehicle into gear she tried to speed away but something kept pulling her back. The banging noise turned out to be the sound of her boyfriend's feet - a madman had hung him by the neck with a rope that had been wrapped round a tree then tied to the car's bumper. When my friend tried to drive away she just tightened the noose around her boyfriend's neck
