There were only a few hundred in each city last year weren't there? Sounds like there were a few hundred just this morning this year.

yeah i think last year the auditions were like a graveyard. Apparently this year there were hundreds in Cardiff, and a good thousand or so in Manchester.

Seems like there will be a good few thousand at London over the course of today and tomorrow as well.

Assume it is down to:
a) Coming so soon after a successful series
b) Zelebs to meet-and-greet
c) The new series being on in summer, so more people will be free to apply

And having two extra venues and more dates in Manchester/London this year probably helps too.

probably due to the audition adverts featuring in just about every CBB episode. And the auditions last year happened at a time when most people didn't even know big brother was back.

Yeah, last year when videos were posted it was dead.
I bet BB12 would of been one of the easiest years to get in to - because so little people turned up.

It's amazing that so many people are interested again.

I hope not. I want a cast like BB7, which some people consider to be one of the freakiest, but they were all entertaining and made it the best series of BB ever IMO.
