I know what you mean.....I love to listen to people who have great knowledge on a subject..it wouldn't matter if it were hoovers (in fact I know someone who collects vacuum cleaners)...I just love how enthusiastic they are

I have this theory that good looking people do get treated worse on a kind of minor personal interaction basis. eg good looks can lead to good like careers or whatever but i mean on a day to day minor interactions with strangers e.t.c.

you're kind of proving that. it's not right to try to be horrible to someone for a reason like that.

True. It wouldn't matter to me how gorgeous a guy was. If he was a dumbo I would instantly lose interest. I've never suffered fools gladly and have never been prepared to dumb myself down to make a guy feel better about his (lack of) brain cells. Probably explains why I'm divorced I would rather be single than be stuck with some boring, thick twonk, no matter how good looking he was.

I kind of prefer less intelligent people (well, kind of)..usually, not all the time, more intelligent people bring the baggage of sarcasm and too much wit and it can get really really annoying and patronizing
