This thread piqued my interest, so I actually watched the first one last night.

It's a slow film, that's creepy, but it isn't really torture porn. There is no gratuitous violence or anything like that.

You don't really see anything stomach churning at all, no scenes of anyone being joined together, and everything is covered by bandages afterwards.

So whilst this film is bad, it's not bad in the way that many people who haven't seen it would think.

I haven't watched any of them (tbh just reading the idea of it made me feel sick for days) but from what I heard the second was far worse and much more on the torture porn road than the first, It was even banned in the UK (I think it was unbanned later though after removing some particularly bad scenes
