TIBB's RED DEVIL!!!

I have seen calls from some Liverpool fans recently on social media and in the press for Rafa Benitez to return as your Manager because of how this season has gone and that he lives in Liverpool, plus he gets what the club is about, of course you have Kenny Dalglish a Liverpool legend as your current Manager who loves your club a lot and did play for you too.
Would Liverpool fans on here want Kenny to continue as Manager and try to turn this mess around or want Benitez to return? Sorry for the long post ![]()

I'd want Kenny to remain at Liverpool, but yeah, I'd love to have Rafa back. Never thought he should have gotten the sack in the first place. One bad season, after all he gave to the club in the previous five, didn't warrant a sacking. We'd be in a much better position right now if he had remained at the club.
I can't see it happening though. Last edited by Samuel.; 25-03-2012 at 12:14 PM. |

Rather keep Kenny, I don't see why people are complaining about the team, they are always in the top 8 of the table, plus they won the Carling cup and 1 in 4 chance of still winning the FA cup so their not doing that bad. So yeah keep Kenny around, although Rafa was good too.

Top 8 shouldn't really be considered acceptable for a club like Liverpool though, especially when (on points) they're actually closer to the bottom of the table then the top of it

Erm, dunno really. I think Rafa is tactically a lot better and also better in the transfer market, and if Kenny left it should be Rafa that takes over. But we'll so how things are at the end of the season, 7th place and two trophies with an underperforming team wouldn't be too bad, but I do think Kenny himself will leave (I don't think he'd take a sacking pay-off tbh) if we finish outside the top 7 and fail to win the FA Cup.
Oh, and Top 8 isn't good enough, we should have been challenging for the top 4 this season and we fell of the pace at the end of December. Will be even harder to do it next year with the Europa League distraction. Last edited by Locke.; 25-03-2012 at 02:51 PM. |

Latest Kenny quotes, some bizarre things he says in there like, ''We have to educate ourselves and maybe we have to not play the lovely football that we have been''.

Often told Pako Ayesteran was the main reason behind Rafa's success and when he left it all went to pot..don't think they're friends at all now..is the first bit true?

I don't think that could ever be confirmed. And there were a lot more reasons for our downfall than an assistant manager leaving.
And he left a year before our best season under Rafa. |
