Yes this is a Cristiano Ronaldo appreciation thread.. I will always be grateful for what he done at United and he never has a bad word to say about United or SAF! I don't like Madrid much but i've always wished him well, unless Madrid play United at some point...

I will say it once again he is twice the player Messi is. Ronaldo has scored more goals in the league than him (although the media never mention it cause Messi is the golden boy) he tore up the EPL while anytime Messi plays against an English he is harder to find than a pin in a haystack

Messi on the otherhand can score goals and do Ronaldo's job.

Tbf Football is a team sport so you need a decent team behind you, Ronaldo always has the top players with him at any club he plays for, so how can we judge how good he is when players like Rooney, Alonso, Benzema, and Higuain supporting him all the time?

I would like to see Ronaldo at Liverpool (no offence Locke) and see how he copes then.

Ronaldo has worse players supporting him than Messi though...

Funny you say that. Liverpool turned him down I think. Or it may of been Arsenal. Crazy to think how different the Prem may of been then.

I disagree as I think Messi is literally a one man team for Barcelona, and he was the one that set up alot of Ronaldinho's goals towards the end of Ronaldinho's career.

And to the bottom part of your post, that is quite interesting really as I think Ronaldo wouldn't be as highly rated if he was playing for one of those teams back then imo.

So i'm guessing you're the Messi hater who conveniently misses Barca's matches when Iniesta or Xavi are injured. Just to fill you in, when those two other guys get injured, Messi is left roaming around the pitch, failing to find the net

He was being scouted by Rafa, and Liverpool were very interested. At the end of the day Ronaldo picked United.

Messi and Ronaldo are both talented players, most people should appreciate it instead of keep debating who is better.

I agree that whilst Messi has his talent he is also helped by Xavi and Iniesta to some extent, while Ronaldo has worked with different players from Rooney and Tevez to Di Maria, Benzema and Higuain etc whilst being able to gel with the way those players operate!

Seriously. You never panicked in a match because you knew he could make something from absolutely nothing. We only really have Rooney and Nani do that for us now and THAT Blackburn goal by Tony V.
