No, this is what I was told before it started

1) You and you alone will choose one of the contestants who will face elimination.
2) You will also have a say in who is eliminated. When voting opens, your vote will count for 50% of the vote for the contestant.

The only elimination I actually voted on though was the first one, I choose JH to stay over Jessica and GG.
