It doesn't excite me because of all the responsibility and complications life after school brings. You have to worry about going to Uni, or getting a job if you don't do that amongst a billion other things.

And my aspirations are too far fetched for me to achieve anyway.

I wish I stuck out at college for the social side of things. Nevermind... Training for a voluntary PCSO now which I think will provide me with my best days so far

Sorry to read you had such a bad time at School, Black Dagger, I would have hated the scenario you mentioned.

There was bullying at my School, which was largely ignored by the Teaching staff,I was well away from it though and had really good friends around me thankfully.
We did help a lad get things sorted out who was being bullied though.

School can be a very harsh place. Wasn't too difficult to me but there were issues

agree with those who said you only realize it once you've peaced. I'm 22 and I personally feel uni's a bit overrated, particularly in North America - it's just like those American Pie-esque movies you see on the tele. School days were the best, hands down.

The people who voted "yes" will presumably become the patrons of that shIte website "Friends Renunited" come 2020.

As an oldie I can tell you that you'll either STILL be friends with a few good uns from yer kiddie days or else will look @ stuff like Friends Renunited and thank F you're not like them who want to keep contact as they have no life.

Maybe just my opinion, I'm going to see the Psychedelic Furs at the end of June with a mate I've known since 5 years old, going to visit a gal-pal I knew who currently lives 300 miles away, but less distance than when I visited her in Mauritius.

Other 'good buddies' I couldn't give a toss about.
