Earlier this week Alex Reid suggested that reports of his fiancée moving out were untrue but today Chantelle Houghton has admitted that she did 'take time out' and stay elsewhere.

The 28-year-old star took to her Twitter page today to confirm to her 177,119 followers that the couple had been arguing.

'To confirm I did take time out from Alex and stay at my flat last week after an almighty row. Last couple days been trying to sort things,' she wrote.

However, her Twitter post comes on the exact same day as Alex's management releasing a statement on his official website, in which he denies his partner left the family home.

This statement coupled with a rant on his own Twitter page has seen Alex even accuse new! magazine of editing Chantelle's column after she wrote that she had moved out of their £600,000 family home.

He said: '@Janey__ yep, but bit different from actually leaving an moving out. Also think sum else might have edited wot Chan said,??? Hmmmmm?'

However, this rant was yet again disproved by his fiancée after she also tweeted: 'My column in @new_magazine magazine is written by myself views are my own xx'

When speaking to Mail Online. Chantelle's spokesperson even referred to her latest columb which reads: 'You might have read reports saying that I am sleeping at my flat while alex has been at our house.

'This is true and I have very good reason for that but I don't want to go into any more detail because it's extremely raw right now.

'It's been a really upsetting and difficult week for me and not the best thing to have to go through when I'm so close to having the baby.'

It appears that the couple seem to be on very different pages regards their rocky and volatile relationship.

But they've clearly sorted out their differences after Chantelle was seen leaving their home today after deciding to return and talk things through with Alex.

But that hasn't stopped Alex from continuing to blast the media and photographers.

In a series of tweets, the former Celebrity Big Brother star wrote: 'Chan & I imprisoned again! Just walked up 2 suspicious blacked out car outside house & scared living daylights out of the sneaky hiding paps.'

He went on to quote what the photographers had allegedly said to him before answering another allegation with the following post: 'complete crap,me or chan never ever said that.Couples row, but wen we do it's another headline.we're both bored rotten of it.'

Earlier this week it was revealed that Chantelle had moved out of their home and had moved back into her own Essex flat, following a huge row.

However, Alex took to Twitter, yesterday, and said: '1 @chantellehought has not moved out.We're still very much together in love & looking forward to mini me arriving.'

He also went on to claim that the couple were in fact heading out for an evening meal together.

He said: '@OK_Magazine @chantellehought no she hasn't, she's well and truly with me. In fact we're just going shopping for a romantic dinner, so? Hmm?'

The "Reidinator" seems to live in his own little world .....
