Default If BB is axed, what show would replace it for the summer?

the slot that BB takes up is 13 weeks at 9pm and 10pm (a few days of each per week). Surely no other show can fill the slot for 13 weeks?

It'll probably either be like the rest of the year, or (and if they DARE replace BB with this, I will be soooo annoyed) an X-factor type show, as they seem to be the new craze. (God knows why)

It'll be some hit American show which will fail miserably in the UK ratings.

Or random documentaries. 'The real life of a camel'... or something to that effect

Well it probably will be after the contract runs out. Every show has a limited lifespan and once Channel 5 cut ties with BB it's very unlikely that another channel will pick it up again.

Doctor Who's been going nearly 50 years.. what's saying Big Brother can't?

Because Dr Who still has a massive fan-base.

Big Brother is down to it's final cult following, sadly.

Big Brother is a reality show though unlike Doctor Who and I hardly think the current crop of them (XF/SCD/BGT etc.) will still be around in 20 years time, same goes for Big Brother. People are getting fed up of reality TV. Scripted shows can last for years and years because they evolve as the world evolves and there are many different characters and storylines to tackle but unscripted TV like BB and singing shows have a limited lifespan.

Yeah, I too think BB will be axed again after the latest contract runs out in 2014.
