It's 0.8m difference between the officials, the drop between BB9 and BB10 was 1.1m. This series will probably lessen that slightly and is looking like it's going to be up on last years, the first time (not including BB11) since BB7 for the normal series.

I have read all your comments and that interview was a good read but im just saying im focusing on BB13's ratings.

Tonights episode will get 1.3 i think.

I really just want BB back in everyones faces again i used to love it when all the haters basically got slapped in the face with ratings over 4 million.

What a comeback that would be. Never gonna happen but still over 2 million i would be chuffed with.

But we were on about BB's chances of coming back, that's the part of your original post I replied to, and CBB is relevant to that as 6 weeks of 2.6m (600k more than they said they'd be happy with) more than makes up for the 13 weeks of 1.7m (only 300k less than they were expecting) instead of 2.

CBB8 (2.8m including the 5.3m launch) + BB12 (1.7m) + CBB9 (2.4m, would have got 2.6 if it wasn't for the smaller launch) / 3 = 2.3m

(Even if you only include one of the CBBs, it's still more than 2m)

It's not. BB and CBB's overall official average on Channel 5 so far is about 2.1m (the average official C5 series average including CBB so far is 2.3m) and this year will probably get the same as last year or slightly more, so it's meeting what The Guardian said Channel 5 would be happy with.

No offence but i see series as a singular event and judge the success on ratings for that series alone.

I dont know why you are clumping together all ratings from 4 different series to make an acceptable average when its clear to see that im talking about BB13 as a stand alone show which it is.

Just judge BB13 ratings on what it actually gets and not combine it with previous series because thats just strange.

The success of BB13 will be down to how it rates alone.

CBB and normal BB are 2 different shows and they should be judged individually.
