I know most people wont keep him just because he is Irish, but some people are patriotic and would do it.

that makes sense but not evrybody is that astute, some people confuse things and lose objectivity. kinda like the eurovision contest, people always vote for their next door neighbor. Or like football, you always support the home team, human nature I guess.
