Nope. Caroline is posh, but she lays her accent on thick. I think people have forgotten that Scott is not posh at all. He's working class and went to a local comp not public school. He was born and raised in Macclesfield which has quite a strong Northern accent. He has already admitted that his accent is completely fake and put on. No one talks like they have been airlifted straight out of 'Pride and Prejudice' here.

Question is why does he do it? I actually like Scott, but I can't abide his accent, if I'm being perfectly honest. I can't see how he gets on in Macclesfield talking like that either. I know when BB started there were quite a few people from Macclesfield who posted on DS about Scott and they were livid at him over his fake accent.

It would be interesting if, even for only a moment, he forgot himself and spoke in his natural regional accent.
