I did see BOTS last night and nothing I saw made me feel any differently about him, it's hard to change your conceptions of someone when they make you feel very uncomfortable just to watch them, however I acknowledge you have put forward valid reasons for liking him, as has Josy ^, it's the first time someone has offered a concrete reason (that I have seen) so fair play. I'll concede that my opinion of him is based on what light BB have shown him in, as I said in another thread about Shievonne, they can only show what really happens BUT... to be logical and fair, they also can choose to show all the bad side of a particular housemate and very little good, so maybe my opinion of him would have been a bit better, I don't know. But it was the epilator rant that did it, and I think that's what all the people that dislike him so strongly what say is the main reason as well. If that isolated incident hadn't happened I'd probably just feel Meh about him.

"Been himself" ... is being an arsehole ok as long as its really you? Really? Plus I swear the other day he admitted hes gone really bitchy and thats not him, so theres a dilemma for you. Is he bitchy or is he not being himself?

Hes done nothing but act an aragant arsehole - whines and threatens to leave when things dont go his way (and knowing enough about MTVN and Josy, you normally hate stuff like this and would normally tell them to f off then), and he has singled out and been very verbally aggressive directly (DR with Arron) and indirectly (epilator rant) constantly towards Deana. And yes its either bordered or been bullying, which either way, is not somebody anyone should support.

In all honestly, I get the impression his fans just like to come across a bit controversial by supporting a cock

Not a fan but I dont think hes quite as bad as hes being made out to be. One more thing I will say is that we are watching Big Brother, it's late night trashy reality TV, I don't expect high moral standards from the people on there and I don't expect to necessarily really like someone as a person to be a fan of them. I said he was being a dick with his epilator rant, nobody really sought to justify that and I don't deny that he has the potential to be a bit of a *****, but I'd also say that from what I've seen he's shown he can also just have a laugh and be quite a nice guy, there's been a couple of times when he's sat and cheered up Ashleigh and stuff, and he's always joined in and gotten involved with things. So what if he doesn't say things to Deana's face, they all bitch about each other in there, at least he keeps out her way and doesn't seek out big arguments with her. It's quite ironic that she goes on telling Conor to "say it to my face" and then sits there bitching about Lauren as well. Tbh I was away last week and haven't seen all the episodes from then so can't really comment on him wanting to leave.

But at the end of the day the point of this show is that the housemates and incidents are always gonna divide opinion, I don't see why people should be surprised that someone likes, or has a different view on a housemate to the one they hold. It'd be a pretty boring program and even more boring forum if we were never gonna disagree on anything

Edit - also it isn't even really like Conor's my favourite or anything, I pretty much lost my 3 favourites all in a row, I'd just say he's one of the best out of a pretty bad bunch of housemates left in there

Arron was worse than Conor was in DR IMO, and I have said over and over that I think the epilator incident was out of order but him now being referred to as a nasty vile thug, rapist, racist is just over reaction, the producers obviously agree since he's still there.

Without him who would be the main character in there? the show would have been the ultimate borefest and people know it. Deana and co couldnt carry the show...well they could but it would be another Rachel Rice snoozefest. Firstly I commend what you have said in this thread and agree 100% esp about how scary it is he hates someone so much without talking to them.

I do wonder a few things however:
