I agree that Julie Chen is the worst, ive been hoping they change the host and revamp the show but no luck. She is married to the head of CBS and so we are stuck with her.

I disagree on Russell, he is one of the best all time survivor players. Love him or not, you have to admit he was entertaining..... His nephew was a complete twat and sexist somn hater!!

Current Season is only one episode in. I wouldn't suggest watching that first, as that & BB9 are the worst premieres to date.
Niamh you would like Big Brother US, If you were to watch, I'd watch either BB4,BB6,BB8 or BB10 first. I haven't finished BB3, or started BB2 yet though & They're over 10 years old so it doesn't seem so current So I'd stick with BB4 onwards. Although you probably won't end up watching any

It's no contest for me. BBUK celebrates its show more than any reality show deserves while BBUS is nearly a mockery of the spirit of what the show is all about. That said, I watch both and enjoy them, but one more than the other...by far. BBUK by a mile.

If you watch BBUS, you need to watch the feeds as well to really appreciate. One things for sure, the BBUS feed is much better than the BBUK feed. There's CONSTANTLY something going on in the BBUS feed, it's never boring. Because somebody is always strategizing or gossiping.

The original channel got shut down once for people talking about it openly on forums, so clearly talking about it openly on forums will not help his second channel. Nobody posts feed links because they're afraid it'll get shut down, but the same goes to YouTube channels to. Stick to PMs for all of our sakes.

Yeah and Russell wasn't one of the best Survivor players of all time but that's a separate argument altogether.

Yes he was, infamous! The villain you love to hate... I hated him so much but he was entertaining as hell. You can hate him but he was very smart, he never won because of his bad social game but he was quite crafty and if Jeff Probst has him on the top players list, must be for a reason.

I'm not harassing you about anything. You told someone to relax because the channel won't get shut down and I'm just explain that it hhas been shut down (not very long ago at that.)

Russell's not a love to hate figure, he's just a pure hate figure. He wasn't very smart at all. He shot himself in the foot multiple times and killed his chances of winning each and every episodes. and lol @ Jeff Probst's opinion meaning anything. You must be new to Survivor.

I like the gameplay format of BBUS better (the HoH, PoV, etc) but I like the way BBUK episodes are edited and the involvement of Big Brother in BBUK better... So it's really hard for me to choose.

I don't really understand the hatred some say they have for Russell, in fact I think it is more love to hate with most of them. Survivor is a ruthless game and Russell has shown up some of the idiots on the show (some of the worst gameplayers ever are on Survivor). Russell MADE the whole Samoa season. He won the final immunities in both Samoa and HvV. No doubt that he is one of the biggest stars there has been on the show.

It's still much better than the editing on BBUS. I feel like if I didn't watch the feeds last year I would have no idea what actually happened in BB13 US. It's always been bad but it seems to be getting significantly worse as the years go on.

By editing I'm talking about the professionalism of it, the use of music in the CH5 version for instance seems amateur.
