It's not being sexist at all. If he was a female I'd have said "she's a grown woman. Moving your bed like a little girl"

He overreacted and hammed it up for the cams to play the victim. Trying to get a little sympathy with the views this week (and yes, they all do it, so nice to see he is no different then anyone else).
