Scott has done nothing wrong, he was right it is perfectly acceptable in other cultures to eat with your hands. It's just the fact he was giggling which made it seem like he was mocking...I don't believe he was.

Maybe Scott was just laughing that she was eating cerial with her hands? It is quite bizarre if it's true!
