I suppose the problem is that it just doesnt attract new members, there is no reason for people to join now BB is finished. That's why I can see the argument behind turning it into a general reality television forum, it would make it more marketable and it would appeal to a lot more people.

It would do the place good to have some some fresh blood at the helm because it needs a complete revamp and some real TLC plus it would get rid of some of the detritus and dingleberrys that the place has got stuck with that make this one of the most unfriendly forums ive ever come across a few of the regulars here make it almost impossible for anybody new to settle here and discourage new members in their droves.

As for the value of the place the valuation sites are utter tripe i bet i could easily find one that values it at £100k less than the quote earlier in the thread and even that is too much the only value the place holds is in its member data base and the vast majority of that was big brother reliant anyway infact there are now only 630-650 active members.

Funny you say that price as my offer was about the £200 mark.

I really would not spend any more, and even £200 would require a good think about.

£200 is about £2 to Mark, he probably wins that much money in under an hour down at the local bookies

£200 is a decent and fair offer and for something that mark seems not to bother with anymore i think he should just take it.

How much are the hosting fees? are they paid monthly? yearly?
The domain name was recently renewed and is valid until nov 2011.

whoever might end up getting the place has a lot of work on their hands thats for sure its going to take some turning around.
