I like Ben a lot - but a great musician can turn a song into their own! He shouldn't complain about a song being biased towards one person or another, because as a singer he should be able to make the song his own, using his own (great) vocals.
However, saying that - I don't think he said it as explicitly as what The Sun is making out.

^^Haha true. A singer should be able to take on any song, I understand if its meant for a females vocals etc...but he could still make it his own.
