Because, possibly like Caroline, she's been teased and bullied in the past, and therefore made a choice when she escaped that environment - does she rise above what she suffered in the past and treat others as she'd want to be treated herself? And make a stand and intervene when she see's the same toxic **** happening to others?
Or does she become what she feared? Does she now belittle and hurt the feelings of others? Whether it's for safety, to boost her own self esteem or just for 'fun', it's vile, and it reveals a lot about her personality - she has a rotten one
I can see why people might have sympathy for her, I certainly don't, but to actually LIKE her? That's beyond me
