I have noticed that often guys support each other by giving each other space in tough times.
I thought it was weird when Adam was going at Conor and Luke A had his back turned, but he was watching through the mirror, definitely interested. But didn't want to make it look like Adam couldn't handle himself. Luke S was kind of doing the same by letting Connor fight for himself, but he was facing them and had a similar body stance to Connor. I think both of the Lukes were ready to jump in but they both showed support differently.

I said lastnight on here Adam didnt want to know LukeA or Deana because they were turning two nasty good for him keep away Adam.

It's different from girls who are more likely to jump into an argument. IE Loudmouth Ashleigh with Deana and Adam's pseudo argument yesterday. Or several times the girls have said "why didn't you say something if you are my friend" this season, a guy would never say that.

I like Luke A's bitchy side sometimes.. usualy the people at the receiving end, deserve it.

Adam and Deana were both silent when luke originally made the remark and didnt find it funny. Maybe Adam wasnt quite as supportive (from what we've seen anyway) because he's a bit tubby himself.
