not reallhy imo, changing the prize money has happened several times before...the year Eugene was offered the cash and took it, we were all happy he was lovely, the year the money counted down, last year when hms split half the cash...so its not new...ive probably left some other years out when the prize fund changed as well, the audience expects twists, problem is not all twists will be well received.

So what on earth has that got to do with ofcom they are there to uphold the broadcasting guidelines not offer moral guidance.
Complaining to them because you dont like a twist on a tv show is a waste of your time and theirs.

You've answered your own question: the guidelines include reference the law, which has a lot to say about unacceptable and threatening behaviour. The moral bit is already in there.

It's no more wasting my time to make the complaint about what I think is right, than you replying to my post because you disagree with me.

I agree with this to an extent theres too much 'thats not a very nice thing to say' going on....However I do feel that conors remarks did border on the rules of the show, threatening behaviour has resulted in a housemate being removed before...

I respect your view but - in my opinion - this thing has gone on for too long now...

I agree with halfacrown @20.
BB producers are being completely inconsistent. I have watched since BB1 and seen several ejections. They were all for offences much less serious than Conor's.

I am particularly amazed and disappointed to see women down-playing his threats of sexual violence.

Oh get a grip.

Can we please set up some sort of company to complain about the pc crew constantly who complain to offcom. They are the saddest most pathetic people in Britain.

Keep going, you're truly on your way to getting BB cancelled or worse turned into another pile of pc ****e like BB11.

I don't know about 'the saddest most pathetic people in Britain' but some of the people who go all weird when OFCOM is mentioned are the some of the most trigger-happy and angry. There are plenty of posts to read, so if anybody is not happy with others complaining, then fair enough, but why read the thread?

Because it relates to me.

People complaining constantly are risking my favourite show being watered down or cancelled.

It directly affects me and thats why im airing my opinion.

One of the people who works for TIBB has said that she's not watching the programme next year because of last night's BOTS and White Room twist. I think unacceptable things have happened in this series and I think it's right to complain about the direction the series has taken. It's no coincidence that the programme has got less popular as it has strayed away from a brilliant simple format, to a mess of bias and manipulation where Conor, after his behaviour, could walk away with £50,000 without the viewers having any say about it.

Ofcom have made it clear these complaints are not worthy of investigation. It's not worth the effort and is a waste of taxpayers money imo. If you feel that the show is rewarding bullying or sexually violent behaviour your best bet is to put your point of view across via other means.

And thats what everyone who no longer likes the show should do.

Switch off and leave us fans of the show enjoy it.

The best thing you can do is boycott the show yoursef and switch off which will also have an impact on Channel 5 but please stop complaining to Offcom because its going to ruin the show for the rest of us. I do feel aswell that people complain to Offcom for the sake of it sometime, they wont be offended by comments but still feel the need to complain and just shoot themselves in the foot.

If BB does turn into another BB11 with no alcohol, bad language or nudity or worse still cancelled you have noone to blame but yourselves.

Thanks for that, however, I think I'll watch when I feel like it and complain if I decide to. I think it's better to speak out and do what you think is right. This board is full of people who are unhappy with the direction of the programme, especially lately, and many of them consider themselves 'true fans' I'm sure, and nobody can claim otherwise.

Its people like you, the Ofcom complainers, who caused the demise of Big Brother in the first place.

if you want to complain, go ahead. If others want to complain, they will, they dont need you to tell them to.

If you dont like it, dont watch - dont ruin it for everyone else.

Oh God, I can't win ha ha! I may be in a tiny minority (of one), but I don't feel I've been swayed by reason: You'll get the programme cancelled (but) contacting OFCOM makes no difference! You’re not a true fan (but) how can you be bothered?! It's really not that much bother if you feel BB are out of line to complain, and not that much of a big deal that it should raise so much angrrrrr!

Do it! Just go ahead and do it, not to cause problems for BB but so they slap some arses in that house.

It's beyond funny that the same people who complain to mods on this forum over little throw away comments can now say that what Conor did is just a rant and not a big deal.

I am on team Outsider but this is ridiculous. Connor said what he said and was warned as he should have been. There is nothing that says he has to like Deanna or even be nice to her. He hasnt repeated his comments or come cose to saying anything of the sort again. (And don't tell me similar comments have been hidden. If they are trying to protect Connor as the tinhatters argue they never would have shown the original horrendous comments).

Weeks have now passed. Move it along. Deanna is going to win this thing in a walk. Her best revenge will be to thank Connor for basicaly handing her the win by being a jackass. Will drive him crazy to know how much how was hated and she was supported. We do not need freaking government involvement through ofcom ffs.
