He didn't come 8th becausue he was never evicted,leaving the house was the condition of the task set, he was not evicted by the public like all the others will be except for the winner of the series.

He is the housemate who because of a task set by BB, won 50k but had to abide by the condition of that task that he could not then go on to have a chance of winning the series and the other 50k.

He leaves with 50k, having survived 4 eviction votes with the public,topping the votes in 2 of them and now not eligible to be a housemate the public can vote out even if they wanted to.
All in all,I would say that's a good result for him in my opinion for a few weeks of being in a BB series.

If he had stayed he would have been top three!
