I love assertive confident women - my wife is one and I admire and adore her more that I can say. She knows the difference between being assertive and confident and being belittling and arrogant. She is also warm and kind and funny but would never use cruel humour like Deana did. Maybe the comparison between my wife and Deana (who is being praised for her brand of 'assertiveness and 'confidence) is just too stark for me and that is why I now dislike her so much.
