As long as they're not endangered species and he isn't poaching then nah I'm not gonna take some moral highground over it even though I wouldn't do it myself, it can even benefit the populations of some big game

This, they act like such hard men, when they don't even go near the animal

Actually it isn't. If you are bothered by animals being killed then you would never say anything like this.

Well you tell me how it is justifiable to kill for fun? If you think that killing for your own self gratification isn't wrong it says a lot about you as a person then.

lol I'm vegetarian so fail from you. I just understand there's a difference between killing animals for consumption, than for sport, even if I support neither.

I think this is a valid point, eating meat isn't a necessity any more after all and a lot of the animals we eat everyday live far worse lives than hunted animals do

Actually... it is very different. And actually... if you know anything about it at all you'd realise how silly your comment is.

Actually it is....1 is a basic human need for survival, the other is killing for no reason other than pleasure.

Humans are omnivores, we are meant to eat meat. Eating meat to sustain yourself is diffrent from killing for fun. The fact that someone gets pleasure out of killing another living creature is quite worrying if you ask me.

That is just not true MTVN. While meat-eating is not a necessity, we are omnivores, built to eat meat, and it's a major source of protein. The standards of animal care in the UK are amongst the best in Europe. More and more people are buying Freedom Food, organically reared and free-range meat... More and more people are turning away from foreign-raised meat and conditions are improving all the time - and that is being customer-led.

Shooting an animal takes a lot of skill. Gamekeepers and people who keep the numbers of certain animals controlled, shoot to kill. Most people who blast away with a shotgun (or airgun) because it makes them feel hard have no conception of the damage they do to some animals who drag themselves away to die a lingering death. They should take up clay pigeon... but unfortunately for them you have to be a pretty good shot.

Well it could also be argued that hunting is a necessity to control and benefit animal population, plus a successful and correctly managed and regulated hunting industry can benefit the economies of African countries and also ensure more is done to prevent illegal poaching, it's not as simple as hunting = wrong

Culling and animal control aren't what we're talking about.

I watched a great TV programme about hunting in Africa. Filmed secretly, obviously. It showed one male (I ucan't use the word 'man' for these people)who tied a cheetah to a tree with a very short harness. Then, from about thirty feet away, another male - a fat, useless, dickless rich one, shot at it. He clipped her back leg with the first shot and she leapt up in the air trying desperately to get out of the harness. The second shot caught her in the face, taking off part of her nose. Now I'm thinking about this, I can remember the terrible noise the animal made when part of its face was shot off. The third shot caught her in the body and it took her around thirty seconds of desperately fighting to breathe through shot-peppered lungs before she finally died. The fat, useless, dickless male was well pleased with his disgusting self, although he probably changed a few of the details of the story when he recounted it to his fat, useless, dickless friends.

Yes... it's a noble sport all right.

Scott is a horrid, vile, cold heartless creature, so it comes as no real surprise that he takes satisfaction from killing innocent animals for "fun"...

That is disgusting I hate reading of cruelty of any kind to animals and Children. Pity it's not legal to do the same to people like that. I know I shouldn't say that, but things like that make me so angry and sad
