Where do my doubts come from, from how I would act in that situation.
If I felt a genuine need to say sorry for something to someone,even more so to someone I claim to really like, I would do so right away,especially if they were in sight and sitting alone just a few yards from me.

What I couldn't say or do if I was genuine, would be to say,I will say sorry tomorrow and then be able to go to sleep.
She wasn't in bed, she was lying on the bed talking to Luke A, she could have taken just 5 minutes to go and say sorry then.
Adam would have had to go to bed still thinking he had in some way offended her.

Better late saying sorry for something than not doing so at all but saying sorry,when needed, needs to be done far quicker than she chose to do as to this incident.
Especially considering she had no right to even get at him at all for his voting in the first place.

Yes. I have no idea why she waited until the next day to say sorry. But then i didn't think she was going to apologize to be honest.
