Why is she the leader? She was never an original outsider, she only floated in when Lauren left..

Commander Deana was sent as a reinforcement.
she doesn't lead them only to motivate them, Captain Lydia was the one in command, but was defeated.... lieutenant adam and sergeant luke A were the only survivors, Commander Deana was not sent to 'lead', she was on a rescue mission sent for the remaining soldiers and nurse Sara
