Unfortunately your reading of the conor money thing was in fact wrong IMO. The prods thought that Luke s would take the money and leave Conor in the house to battle the odds with Deana to the death. They didnt reckon on Conor being that clever and it left them with egg on their faces. If they thought conor would do what he did, the comp would have been different.
Mind you, in saying all that, conor didnt ask for it, they gave him the chance and he took it. You cant blame him for taking it, I would have and so would most people.
