Also the crowd put ours to shame in a big way! Plenty of good-spirited encouragement for the housemates with none of the instant hating and booing our horrid crowd loves so much.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds but it looks great thus far!
I want to watch it now Is threre loads of live feed? And sorry to be a nuisance, but where can I watch it? Thanks in advance

The BBUSA HM's aren't exactly handed a script, but are "coached" by producers. These tactics have been exposed (accidently) in live feeds dating back to BBUSA series 2, and the production has become more slick each year since.

Diary room sessions (again, exposed by HM's in past live feeds) are rehearsed and guided by producers, so what is said to the camera fits properly into the storyline.

Sadly, the TV ratings of BBUSA increases each year, telling the producers they're doing the right thing. The "show" these days is nearly unwatchable.

I watched it too and it makes our look pathetic. How did the UK version go from the one that everyone wanted to emulate to the bottom of the pile.

BBAus benefitted from having a lengthy hiatus and rethink.

C5 should have left a gap of at least 1 year and gone back to drawing board. It got Brian D off the back of UBB as host without really thinking his 'talent' through. The best bits are really poor edited and are just HM dancing. Last year Aaron came up with loads of witty one liners (see his mega Zinger thread in DS) but all we saw was dancing, his love in with Faye and Jay-induced sulks.

oh me too!!

I've watched the first two now and Yes the house puts all other BB houses to shame, and the house mates seem very interesting... but I hope the stop the "live" shows soon and give us some real footage of what's going on inside the actual house. Too much of the MILF presenter trying to be witty for my taste

You'll find plenty of lf discussions about it that last about 2 seconds before the feed switches to fish, and more than enough former hm's who've confirmed it after leaving.

If you watch the feeds long enough, you can even spot when it happens. BB interrupts a strategy session, calls a hg in, 30 minutes later they come out, and they've had a complete change of heart about whatever strat was being discussed. Or, they've miraculously come up with a brand new amazing strategy despite having the mental faculties of a fruit fly.

Amazingly, this new direction will mean someone who is perfectly suited for the next HOH competition is still in the game, despite being on the bare edge of eviction just hours before the live broadcast. The sad part is I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not.
All you described was producer manipulation and rigging, which we all know has been a staple of BBUS ever since Grodner took over as producer. The only things that are scripted are some of the DRs. You should look up what scripted means.

The presenter is awful.
The crowd noise is fake.
The housemates (especially the male housemates) are awful.
The house is tacky.
It is too contrived and is absolutely unwatchable.

Yeah, 'cause Channel 5 are doing a much better job of it..........NOT!!!!

Our BB presenter is AWFUL.
Our crowd noise is often messed with.
They're housemates look way better than the (mostly)sorry bunch we've had this year!
What exactly is 'tacky' about the house ? It's in a different league of cool compared to ours!
And as for it being contrived!!!!! It's a TV show. TV Shows ARE contrived and as far as being contrived goes ours is contrived in the worst possible ways!

Channel 4 got very slack with the last series of BB they did here but even that was far superior to this awful abomination that Channel 5 have vomited onto our screens!!!
Channel 5 have a massive disregard for the viewers and the hardcore BB fans alike! You only have to look at how unpopular C5 is generally to get the picture of what has happened to BB since they got it.
Hopefully Endemol are shopping around for another Channel for when the C5/BB contract expires!

Bloody hell i just watched the first two episodes and it just make you realise what a low rent piece of crap we get shovelled up! it just highlights everything that is poorly executed in bbuk.

BBUK badly needs a new house the current one is just inadequate in every way it has been rejigged and refitted in every way it possibly can and now its just too small and stale.

The production values of BBUK really are just poorly done and poorly executed by people that just arent up to the job it is just cheap and nasty in every way. For a while i was willing to believe it was just them trying to be edgy and jazzy but no its pretty clear now that thats all they are capable of with the staff they employ.

The whole setup of BBUK from top to bottom is really poor Its a sorry state of affairs but is the result of endemol uk being backed financially into a corner with only one tv station with any interest in picking it up but not offering the money needed to employ the people with the proper skills to produce the show at the level it should be.

It really doesnt matter what you think of BBAUS presenters and housemates or some nonsense about crowd noise being fake (did you see the size of the crowd it was huge of course it was noisy duh) thats all just irrelevant objective details.
Just the quality of the show from the house itself to the execution of the live shows the production just puts BBUK and C5 to shame its embarrassing how much better BBAUS really is.

Yes the live show has none of that inaudible chat. They actually have 300 staff. BBUK looks more like 30.

As for the men being bad?? Micheal is a F888ing RIOT. How can you NOT like the bloke?? The big guy with the dreads seems pretty cool and a bit of a hunk for the ladies. Not to mention the fact that there are 3 guys left to go in. I mean seriously you ALREADY have more eye candy than we do. There is only ONE girl in there that would turn a man's head on the street for the right reasons.

Wish these would get posted up in the HD I've grown accustomed to with BBUK episodes. Can't even get BBUS in HD these days. House is great though.

and you watch ours? then you must have a high pain threshold because bb aus > bb uk in production value and housemate value.
