Well as some of you know, I'm starting up University in 2 days so I'm leaving my house today. I'm going to university in the US, don't ask () to New York and basically I have a lot on my mind and I thought maybe you TiBB folk could give me some advice. I'm going to miss my family so much as well.

I was wondering if people could maybe tell me their stories of leaving to college, or people who are also going through it now, even though the UK starts up a little later in September.

I don't want to leave Plus I'll be in a different time zone from most of you and I won't have sky tv

Is it NYC that you're going to? I have family there and I always dread going. Some really bitter people there, but also some amazing really fun people. I've always liked upstate NY better, but you'll get used to it and love it after a bit.

Don't worry, once your there you will love it! I've just back from 7 weeks in the US and I'm gutted to be back home

For me, America and a really nice feel to it. Everything just seems better! Plus generally the people are friendlier and happier too! There is a real feeling of abundance there which I liked. Have fun!
