I don't buy this for a second. I've had chicken plenty of times at picnics and what not and never once seen a congregation of birds mourning their dead or dive bombing me or anything.

People always want to ascribe human characteristics to nature. But it's all crap. Just like how people see the face of Jesus or Elvis in pieces of toast. Or they think their dog loves them. You always hear dog owners say crap like "my dog has unconditional love for me". No your dog doesn't love you, he just likes you because you give him food. Stop giving your dog food and see how much he "loves" you, let's see how "unconditional" it is.
