I like the whole tactical side of it compared to the UK version, and the idea of the public having little influence over who goes and stays is nice, but after watching that video... it was impossible to relate to any of them? Maybe the game's so highly evolved and concentrated on but it just drained all humanity out of anything I just watched LOL. Like I can see that this is apparently a masterplan pulled off by Dan and I believed Danielle's reaction to be genuine, but the blinking incredulousness of the rest of the HGs just baffled me.
I dunno, I'm only commenting on this because it compares BBUK to this, and I in no way am in a position to judge a whole show on one episode LOL, but I didn't really feel entertained by that. They all act quite OTT (seriously, their reactions to the funeral, rofl) and I just couldn't find anything enjoyable about it.

I completely agree with this actually and it's why I much prefer earlier seasons where you got proper insight into everyone's decisions. For example in Big Brother 2 (I'll spoiler the rest in case people want to watch it in future

)
At the end of that series you really felt like you learnt about 12 complex, interesting characters whereas in this series you look at who's remaining and you have no REAL connection with them because you haven't really been able to relate with them on any personal level. I know that they love casting "cut-throat" people, but it'd be much more interesting if they got a good mix of people who weren't so ruthless with the game as well.
