Bristol
like the Brixton pound
is trying to get locals spending local
with deals.

It's a lovely idea in principle, but money is tight and things are always cheaper online...

I'm surprised that there arn't any laws against creating your own currency.

Yes but some local stores
will give money off
as you are using local cash.

Not every item is online.


On BBC news they sold out of it,
and had to get more brought in.

Yes but with loads of Exclusive Local Bristol Shops.

Some locals bought loads
to get discounts fast.

300 stores are in on it.
Markets love it.



This is bigger than the Brixton Pound
