So obviously it's known now that Chris is apparently topping the votes each week. I honestly don't understand how this is happening..

By looking at the official X Factor Twitter/FB page, he hasn't got a huge online following at all. He got around 7,000 likes on a picture of his performance, compared to around 20,000 likes on Ella's. I'm not saying this is the best way to see how popular a contestant is, but it's an okay indication I think.

If he does go onto win, then I think X Factor will be over. If a pub singer wins.. then wow.

basically, due to low viewing figures this year, the scouse vote is even more powerful than usual!

If they just complimented him one week without all the cheese stuff he'd be out in a flash

You guys who like him are welcome to like him haha I'm not saying don't like him, but I was just wondering how he is 'popular' on a show like x factor when really, right now in the charts there is literally no one like him, so those kinds of singers imo didn't go down too well. Especially because I thought a lot of X Factor viewers were teens, and the people which voted were teen girls. But yet again, I'm a teenage guy and I've voted before, haha, but I'm always in the minority!
