MASCOT.


Most Sports Teams have a Mascot of some description which they use on merchandise and often have someone actually dress up in costume as the character, to appeal to the fans and serve as a money spinner for the club.

Examples



Your task is to choose a British sporting team, can be football, rugby, whatever you like, and design a mascot for that team, along with 4 items of merchandise featuring the character, to be sold as souvenirs, or keepsakes, or even items of clothing, headgear etc. Try and be original

For this task you may enlist help from ONE forum member who isn't involved in the game, but all ideas must be seen to come from yourselves, and this person may not suggest items of merchandise, only helping with translating your ideas into actual designs. Therefore it may be a good idea to again appoint a Team leader should you choose to take up this option (you don't have to if someone on your team wants to design btw) and that Team leader can liaise with the helper, as they won't be able to access your team room obviously.

You must credit this person in your team room and we may consult with them as to how much help they gave you - yes, we are meanies, deal with it

Task deadline is Midnight tomorrow, giving you well over 24 hours. Results will be at 5pm on Wednesday. Have fun.

Oh, and teams....this task will be judged by the panel of five*, we will all assess you fairly and impartially and decide between us the winning team, and who gets fired from each team.

Update.

All team members will, after the task, nominate the two members of their own team who in their opinion contributed least to the task. The two from each team with the most votes will face the panel. Each judge will pm me their decision and a brief reason. I deliberately chose an odd number of judges so there will never be a tiebreak situation. Sir ShuGrr will make the You're Fired Announcement. I'll then post the panels individual decisions and brief reasons. If you are fired, please try to be available for the You're Fired spinoff show, so JH can chat to you. Ty.
